During her professional career, Vildane Maliqi worked on projects empowering marginalized communities. She co-founded the Lab of Activism and Progressive Society (LAPS), inspired by challenges faced by discriminated communities in Kosovo, especially in borderline municipalities. LAPS focuses on school reorganization and offers consultancy services to educational institutions, notably in rural areas. They implement projects that help students and teacher to improve quality of education.

By connecting with stakeholders and collaborating with local communities to address their needs, LAPS supports education with a grassroots approach.
