Mrs. Danielle du Plooy is a creative psychotherapist and entrepreneur, having founded a social enterprise and charity, Uppertunity, in 2015. Uppertunity serves adults with additional needs, with the aim to empower and provide opportunities for life-long learning. Since its inception, Danielle has been involved in leadership, business growth and strategizing, mentoring programs for adults with additional needs. She is also a qualified art psychotherapist. Danielle's aim is to create ripples of positive change by offering programs that leverage psychotherapy techniques to remove social and professional barriers. Danielle is currently working to refine her team building program curriculum, which she has developed to create strong, bonded, and grounded teams, helping with wellbeing and ultimately leading to more productive teams and stronger communities.
